Interactive Projection System

With From Inside, Thierry de Mey, composer and film producer, wants to bring us closer to the old dream of "seeing and hearing" dance from within. When visiting this installation, the audience has a unique experience of perception of dance through physical involvement with an interactive system. Visitors enter a "black" box where images are projected on 3 giant screens. Three windows of light, on the ground, define the playing field. When a visitor's movement is detected, the system interacts with the image, the sound, and the sequence following rigorously predetermined scenarios. Visitors can choose which filmed sequence, which universe of movement he will meet, and in what sublime images he will be immersed:
