LAURENT POITRENAUX

Laurent Poitrenaux did the majority of his training at the École Théâtre en Actes directed by Lucien Marchal.

Laurent Poitreneaux is closely connected with the director Ludovic Lagarde and has become the favorite actor of the author Olivier Cadiot. The trio has worked together on the performances Soeurs et Frères, Le Colonel des Zouaves, Retour définitif et durable de l’être aimé, Fairy queen, Un nid pour quoi faire, Un Mage en été premiered in the festival d'Avignon 2010, in the Büchner trilogy (Woyzeck, La Mort de Danton, and Léonce et Léna) and Lear is Town premiered in the festival d'Avignon 2013. Directed by Ludovic Lagarde, he performed the lead role in L'Avare by Molière in April 2016. In film, he has worked with Claude Mouriéras, Sigried Alnoy, Christine Dory, Patrick Mille, Gilles Bourdos, Christian Vincent, Sophie Fillières, and more recently with Agnès Jaoui in Au bout du conte, Isabelle Czajka in D'Amour et d’eau fraîche and La vie Domestique, and Mathieu Amalric in La Chambre bleue.
