LAURENT MARIUSSE
In 1994, Laurent Mariusse began studying at the CNSMD de Lyon, specializing in contemporary music. His encounters with composers such as Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvos, Daniel Tosi, and François-Bernard Mâche were decisive in his future career. He worked with composers Marie Hélène Fournier, François Nicolas, Yves Prin, Jean Philippe Calvin, Pierre Jodlowski, and Emmanuel Séjourné on the premiere of works for solo percussion.
Musician seeking multidisciplinary situations, he has premiered music for theater and musical theater, notably in collaboration with Yves Prin. A fan of improvised music, he has performed with OMax software for improvisation perfected by Gérard Assayag and the composer François Nicolas. Mariusse also improvises music for animated films with the trio USB.
