The Italian Emanuele Palumbo studied composition with Gabriele Manca at the Milan Conservatory and at the CNSMD de Paris with Gérard Pesson. In his music, he often questions the specialization of the work carried out by the musician and the composer. Using accessories (specially equipped bows, mutes, picks wrapped in felt) that he makes himself, Palumbo creates inhabitual playing styles and new sounds. The instrumental ensemble becomes a venue filled with a new aura.
